Being a licensed General Contractor and NARI Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler, my commitment is to quality and service - period. I’m proud to be one of the National Kitchen and Bath Women 2 Women members for 2024, plus being named as one of the Top Innovators for 2024 nationally by Kitchen and Bath Design News for my bespoke line of cabinetry! My company specializes in kitchens, baths, basements, room additions, and whole house remodeling.

My company’s approach to remodeling and design is to determine the most efficient, and cost effective way, to make an area achieve a customer's goals. Unlike a traditional design company, our approach to a remodel always begins with a focus on functionality. In cabinetry design, I have always had a reputation for thinking "out of the box", especially in hard to design areas. Where most designers start with the look of the cabinetry, I believe the functionality of an area is what leads to long term satisfaction with your remodel. "If you can get to things conveniently, then you'll be more successful in keeping your home organized." Is what I tell potential customers. The “gift” is on the inside of the cabinet and how it functions - the “gift wrap” can be a cabinet finished in whatever style or look you prefer for your home.

My companies combine design/build remodeling with space planning and functional cabinetry/storage design. We offer cabinets in all types of materials and custom build design, and build them to the specification of the design to maximize space and efficiency. 

Functional Living Design Group is the culmination of two decades with complete immersion into the field of home design, home remodeling, custom closets and custom cabinetry. Lead by the vision of owner Kathy Morgan CKBR, Functional Living Design Group is a first of its kind showroom for the Central Ohio area.
